Huge J-Serve Thanks!

April 25, 2010 – A day of service like no other day.

NSTI extends huge thanks to each and every one of our 110 awesome volunteers for their great work and spirit on J-Serve 2010. NSTI partnered with BBYO and J-Serve to get our project off the ground. Ours effort - one of hundreds of community service projects around the world - was to beautify the Ford School in Lynn, MA. Teens helped build a greenhouse, create the foundation for a koi pond, build players' benches, create a mural along the entrance ramp, paint fruit hopscotch and 4-Square games on the blacktop, and planted nine trees.

NSTI also thanks Ford School Principal Dr. Claire Crane, Coordinator David Gass, mural artist Yetti Frenkel, and Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy of Lynn for their generous support.

Finally, J-Serve 2010 would not have enjoyed such success without our indispensable Teen Coordinators Hannah Wolf & Matt Frankel. We said, "Get your hands dirty" and you totally did. For photos of this amazing day, check out our public facebook page here.
