NSTI is gathering as many Jewish teens as possible from around the North Shore to participate in J-Serve, an annual day of service for Jewish youth around the world. On April 25th, we will bring our TEAM of volunteers to help with some renovations at the Ford School in Lynn. We will be joined by a group of teens from the New England region of BBYO in hopes of making a significant impact in one short day!
We will be working on several project around the Ford School including: 1) building a greenhouse 2) creating a small koi pond adjacent to their garden 3) building "players benches" for their "parking-lot baseball diamond" 4) beautifying and building around a picnic area 5) creating a mural along the ramp of the entrance-way and 6) bringing in some outdoor low level playground pieces for the kids of the school. This is a HUGE task . . . and we need a BIG turnout. So please, plan to help us on April 25th as part of this national Jewish service day. Talk to you friends and RSVP so we know we can count on you!
