JCC North Shore - Jewish Teen Internship

The Jewish Teen Internship (JTI)
JTI is a FREE program that provides valuable leadership training and interpersonal communication skills, while participants assist JCC camp activities and spend time with other teens from across the community. In this unique summer program, interns from grades 8 -10 will learn about being a role model to campers (the Jewish value of Dugma), develop leadership skills that will last a lifetime, and acquire tools for working with children and peers.

The Service Learning Component of JTI
North Shore Teen Initiative (NSTI) has created a Service Learning component for the JTI Program. Each week NSTI brings JTI interns with chaperones to a volunteer site to engage tikkun olam (repairing the world). The 8 volunteering opportunities include:
